Free Speech & the Mohammed Cartoons

All bloggers should apologize to our Muslim friends for any offense (as, indeed, freedom of worship is one of our most fundamental freedoms), but all bloggers should nonetheless staunchly defend the right of all people to exercise freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is our most fundamental freedom - as it is the freedom which protects all the others.
